A west Little Rock kitchen and adjoining pantry, reimagined for a family of five who actually cook. The existing space was newer construction — well-built, but laid out for a different kind of household. We rebuilt it around the way they live now.

The Brief

A working island that two adults could share. A scullery pantry where the dish-washing happens. Storage for everything, designed to be put away. Quiet finishes — nothing that announces itself.

What we built

• New island, custom-built, with secondary prep sink
• Walk-in scullery pantry with second dishwasher and full pantry storage
• Custom inset cabinetry, painted on site
• Honed marble counters; brass hardware throughout
• Lighting redesigned to layer task, ambient, and accent
